Meet the Innkeepers

Park House Bed & Breakfast is run by innkeepers Jessica and Rick Landerer. A dream come true for Jessica, Park House was a labor of love for two years while the pair worked hard to restore the 100-year old home back to pristine condition.

"My love for Park House was inspired by my pleasant memories as a child. Growing up in a Cuban household with three sisters, mother, and grandparents, my grandmother raised us to be domestic, creative, and passionate about food.

As a little girl, my favorite pastime was to decorate the house and have tea parties with my sisters. By the age of five, I was already finicky about the beds and kitchen table being decorated tastefully. Little did I know that God was in the process of preparing me for Park House.

Today I am married to my wonderful husband, Rick. I'm an avid gardener, I enjoy antiquing and taking drives to historic towns and touring old homes. Throughout my life, I've worked in the catering and hospitality industry. My background sparked my interest when I stayed at my first Bed and Breakfast. The concept of living, working and entertaining in a historic home was something I couldn't ignore.

As I combed many towns, I found Greenville and quickly realized it was perfect. From cultural activities, to shopping, dining, and an active community, Greenville had it all. To top it all off, there was a variety of historic areas and homes that were financially obtainable for my vision.

Park House is a dream come true. We purchased the home in January, 2010 and have since worked tirelessly to turn it into a beautiful Bed and Breakfast. It is my pleasure to open our home to you. I appreciate good hospitality and want to offer that to you. I look forward to meeting you at Park House."
